Ionized Water for Pets

Alarming amounts of teflon, mercury and fire retardants have been discovered in our dogs and cats at higher levels than found in humans, meaning that our beloved pets are much more susceptible to toxins and pollutants than we are. Grooming supplies, flea and tick treatments and even pet food are found to contain harmful contaminants and toxins that are increasing the risk of disease and shortening the lives of our pets. Yet, no one is studying these risks of exposure and long term effects. This means that we are the first line of defense when it comes to our fur babies and ionized water is the key to protecting our pets. Use ionized water to optimally hydrate your pets, create natural solutions for ailments and to even make your own organic pet food!

As much as you love your pets, you probably don’t want their various aromas to dominate your green home. Here are effective and eco-friendly ways you can eliminate pet odors, from urine stains to doggy breath:

Clean Accidents Quickly and Effectively

Accidents Happen!  To keep odors from taking over your home:

• Clean accidents as soon as possible, making sure wet spots don’t get a chance to dry. Built up urine stains on upholstery are much harder to eradicate. If dry, several applications may be necessary.
• Use paper towels to soak up any puddles before applying a cleaner.
• Rinse with cold 11.5 strong alkaline water.
• Allow to saturate. Let set for about 5 minutes and then mop up with as many towels as needed. If stain persists, repeat as needed.
• A wet-vac can help clean your carpet without the use of toxic chemical treatments.
• Spray with 2.5 Strong Acidic ionized water once the stain is removed to kill germs and bacteria.
• Make sure to soak the carpet padding if it got wet, with 2.5 strong acidic Water to prevent mildew. Carpet paddings can easily mildew, so let dry thoroughly. Use a hair dryer if necessary.
• Wash any pet blankets or other linens that may have gotten dirty with Strong Acidic Water

All-Natural Grooming

Keeping your pet regularly groomed can help prevent odors. To keep your animal clean naturally:

• Make sure you brush your pet’s fur regularly.
• Brush your pet’s teeth often – as needed. Use baking soda and Kangen Water® as a healthy, all-natural toothpaste.
• Sometimes your dog or cat needs help keeping his ears clean from dirt and yeast. To clean: Moisten clean cotton balls with 2.5 Kangen Water, and gently wipe the inner flap of your pet’s ears, being careful not to drip the water into your pet’s ears.
• Bathe your pet with Strong alkaline water to remove smelly oils. Spray with 2.5 afterwards to kill bacteria. Then, finish with 6.0 beauty water to restore proper pH of your pet’s skin. Say no to toxic chemicals found in store-bought pet shampoo. They are harmful top your fur baby.

**You should talk to your veterinarian about your particular pet’s optimal pH level for his fur. You may want to simply use  Beauty Water or Neutral Water, depending on the advice of your vet. Keep Pet Toys and Feeding Area Clean

Wash your pet’s feeding bowls two or three times a week with Strong Acidic Water. Follow by disinfecting with 2.5 Strong Acidic Water.  You can also wash combine it with:

• Liquid castile soap
• White vinegar or lemon juice
• dōTerra essential oil
